The sire, Monty, is an excellent conformation dog with a great temperament. Monty has finished his AKC Championship and in Oct 2008 earned his Working Certificate title as well as the 1st leg of his AKC Junior Hunter title. Among other conformation wins Monty was WD/BOW at the 2007 Sierrra Vista LRC Specialty under Joyce Brabban (Cambremer)and WD, BOW and BOB at the 2007 San Luis Obisbo KC HDLRC Supported Entry under Michael Silva (Shadowbrook)
The dam, Mesa, has proven to be of equal quality and has competed successfully acquiring her Canadian Championship as will as her Working Certificate and Junior Hunter title. Mesa is extremely intelligent and progressed quite rapidly in her field work - In her previous litter she produced a Search and Rescue dog (Ranger) who has demonstrated incredible talent at a very young age.
In 2007 Mesa finished her Am JH, was Reserve Winner's Bitch at LRCSC under David Hepper (Mardas) and won the Open Black Class at HDLRC Specialty under June Sasaki (Davaron)
