We expect this to be an exceptional all-black litter of excellent conformation and high intelligence. These pups should exhibit a great deal of working ability as well as excellent temperaments.
The sire, Monty, is an excellent conformation dog with a great temperament. Monty has both majors and needs only 4 single points to finish his AKC Championship. Among other wins Monty was WD/BOW at the 2007 Sierrra Vista LRC Specialty under Joyce Brabban (Cambremer)and WD, BOW and BOB at the 2007 San Luis Obisbo KC HDLRC Supported Entry under Michael Silva (Shadowbrook)
The dam, Mesa, has proven to be of equal quality and has competed successfully acquiring her Canadian Championship as will as her Working Certificate and Junior Hunter title. Mesa is extremely intelligent and progressed quite rapidly in her field work - In her previous litter she produced a Search and Rescue dog (Ranger) who has demonstrated incredible talent at a very young age.
This past year Mesa finished her Am JH, was Reserve Winner's Bitch at LRCSC under David Hepper (Mardas) and won the Open Black Class at HDLRC Specialty under June Sasaki (Davaron)
I believe the offspring from these two will make excellent family companions as well as talented hunters
