Bio

Skar, for me , was everything I wanted in a Labrador! He was big without being overdone , muscular and athletic - he moved beautifully and effortlessly. He had the classic kindness of expression and temperament one comes to expect in a Labrador Retriever. He would also work tirelessly retrieving till I thought my arm would fall off and he truly loved the water - as much to play in as to work.

He finished his Canadian championship at 11 months of age and went on to take numerous Specialty placements. Skar passed away in 1995 , asleep in my arms at the veterinary office still his Dad's boyo!!

Skar was used at stud only once by Sally Bell (Borador) and from that litter came:

 Am. Ch. Borador’s Saskatoon ( Winner’s Dog - ‘96 Huron River LRC & ‘96 Twin Cities LRC) 

and

Am. Ch. Borador’s Athabasca ( BOB - ‘96 Twin Cities LRC ). I still have frozen semen from him.
