_____________________________ POLICY FOR APPROVING BITCHES: The stud’s owner must approve bitches before being accepted for breeding. Bitches must be in good health and condition at the time of breeding and must be free of hereditary defects, parasites, or infections – copies of corresponding documentation must be supplied prior to approval. They must be of good conformation and temperament and must be physically suitable for breeding to the selected male. Recent negative culture and brucellosis tests are required. A culture or veterinary examination may be required at the owner's expense if any problem is suspected. A progesterone test would also be preferred to confirm the bitch is indeed ready for breeding Bitch
owners must be willing and able to provide care for the litter and agree
that no puppies from the resultant litter will be sold to pet shops, puppy
franchises, dealers, raffled or supplied as give away prizes or similar
projects (nor can they be given
to any of the above) or any other wholesale outlets; All puppies resulting
from a breeding to a Greenhill Stud Dog, must be registered with the CKC/AKC
and sold on a CKC Non-Breeding Contract if bred in Canada. Penalty for
breach of the above is $1,000.00 per animal involved, payable on demand.
STUD OWNER'S RESPONSIBILITY: The
bitch will be given proper care and handling, but stud owner cannot accept
responsibility for losses due to causes other than the negligence of stud
owner. Stud dogs are guaranteed
to be in the same good health required of the bitch. GUARANTEE:
At least 2 live puppies at birth
are guaranteed. If less than
that number result, the owners of the bitch are entitled to a return service
to the same stud, subject to the availability of the dog requested. STUD FEE:Stud fee is payable at the time of service and is not refundable. |
